Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Boys’ School and the Homeschool Cooperative?
The Boys’ School is a full-time, five-day-per-week program for young men offering a comprehensive classical education and daily Chapel. The Homeschool Cooperative meets once weekly and supports homeschooling families with supplemental classes and community activities.
Do I need to be a member of a specific denomination to enroll?
No. While we hold to Reformed Christian doctrine and require a credible profession of faith from at least one parent, we welcome families from any church background who agree with our mission and standards.
Is Salem Creek Academy accredited?
Yes. Our Online Academy offers livestream and recorded access to Chapel services and theology classes for free, with optional paid academic courses available for remote families or homeschoolers.
Are scholarships available?
Scholarships may be available for students in the Boys’ School who demonstrate strong character, academic promise, or financial need. Please contact us to inquire about current availability and the application process.
Benefits
Cultivate Character. Pursue Mastery. Grow in Christ.
Personalized, Mastery-Based Learning
Students advance only when mastery is demonstrated—whether in math, music, or theology. Our small class sizes and one-on-one guidance ensure no one is left behind.
Formation in Christian Character
We don’t just educate minds—we disciple hearts. Through Scripture, catechism memory, worship, and community, students are shaped into wise and godly leaders.
Multi-Age Learning Environment
Like the classical schoolhouses of old, our students learn together across grades—fostering mentorship, humility, and peer accountability.
Seasonal Enrichment Opportunities
From educational field trips and athletics to optional summer studies and church internships, we offer ways to grow beyond the classroom.
